Job Title: Packager (Non-Exempt)

Location: Montebello, CA

Position Overview: Montebello Plastics is accepting applications for diligent and detail-oriented Packagers to join our production team. As an essential manufacturer serving a diverse range of industries, we rely on our Packagers to ensure that all products are handled with care and meet our high standards for quality. Our Packagers are critical to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our operations, while following FDA protocols and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate packaging machinery and handle materials in compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring packaging materials are kept off the floor and properly stored.
Follow all quality control procedures, including measuring product dimensions and ensuring packaging meets order specifications.
Support team members by minimizing scrap, offering assistance when needed, and maintaining a smooth production process.
Complete required reports and documentation for quality control and production.

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on foot for extended periods.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
Strict adherence to safety standards and FDA hygiene protocols.
Ability to complete electronic time cards and follow company time-keeping policies.
